Progress Youth Theatre
Floodlights & Blinders Present:
The Importance Of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde

A rollicking comedy of manners and errors!

Jack and his friend Algy create alter egos in order to escape their everyday lives. All very well until they discover Cecily and Gwendolin (the young women they love) are in love with someone who is not (quite) them.  Will true love survive a Gorgon mother, babies in handbags, train stations, Christenings, repulsive names, cucumber sandwiches (or lack of!), cake, muffins and tea?!?

Do not miss Travesties by Tom Stoppard on Tues 23 & Fri 26 March, 7:45pm plus Double Bill – Sat 27 March:
The Importance Of Being Earnest, 5:30 pm & Travesties, 7.45 pm

Wilde’s classic comedy of manners and Stoppard’s satirical farce - together in one week!
