Named in honour of the great architect Alfred Waterhouse, who designed many of the most iconic buildings of the Victorian era, not least the monumental Natural History Museum, and who gave Reading Town Hall its striking and memorable facade,The Waterhouse Chamber boasts some of the Town Hall's most impressive features.  Chief among them, the ornate Victorian Gothic fireplace, and beautiful stained glass windows.

Claire and her team were very kind and helpful. They were so considerate and made the setting up and preparations go smoothly.  The bar staff were also attentive, polite and helpful. It all contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable evening.

I would certainly recommend the town hall as an excellent venue.
